Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the SPORTSDESK.

I grew up thinking that Phil Jackson was some sort of Jedi Basketball coach, that he trancended all of the traditional values of basketball and the business surrounding it.  Phil is tied with Red Auerback for most championships (9).  He's coached some of the most marketed players in the history of the NBA:  Shaq, Kobe Bryant, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Bill Cartwright- Michael Jordan.

Obviously, this guy knows how to handle his life.  He can manage some serious stress.  But what stuns me is that Phil Jackson (born in Deer Lodge, Montana in 1945) would agree to have an inter-office love affair with the boss's daughter.  Don't get me wrong- I think the videos are hilarious.  I can't wait til they come out on BluRay.

I guess my point is that Hollywood and the glamour of the LA Lakers can infect just about anyone- even a six foot eight inch, lumberjack from Montana whose favorite book is Robert Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
